Officials from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said 41-year-old Jeremy Caine Green was killed when his motorcycle was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer that was turning at the intersection of Hovis Road and Northern Drive. Emergency responders pronounced Green dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
