Details:
On or about Friday, December 10th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and two TxDOT workers on foot left two men dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along South Interstate 35 in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 30-year-old Jeremy Singleton and one other person were killed when they were allegedly struck by a vehicle in the 4900 block of I-35. Emergency responders pronounced Singleton and the other TxDOT worker dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Austin.
Officials are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
