On or about Thursday, July 7th, 2022, around 9:06 in the morning, a major accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one woman dead and sent a man to the hospital. Spokespeople from the ASP said the accident was reported along the 412 Bypass in Paragould, Arkansas.
Representatives from the Arkansas State Police said 55-year-old Jeri Sue Banks was killed when the pickup truck she was in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer while attempting to pass another vehicle along the 412 Bypass. Paramedics pronounced Banks dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Police identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 42-year-old Eduardo Trevino, who was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Highway 358.
Police are still looking into the accident.
