On or about Wednesday, March 24th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 49-year-old man. Officers said the accident was reported at the intersection of South Tejon Street and East Las Vegas Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Authorities said 49-year-old Jerry Flores was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer that was turning from the eastbound lanes of Las Vegas Street onto southbound Tejon Street. Paramedics pronounced Flores dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
