On or about April 23rd, 2021, around 3:51 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 84 and Division Street in Lubbock County, Texas.
Deputies from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said 45-year-old Jerry Jones was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 84 and Division Street when the truck hit Jones’ vehicle. Emergency responders transported Jones to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the colliison.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 84 and Division Street is a short distance northwest of downtown Lubbock.
