Details:
On or about Thursday, June 30th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 40-year-old woman dead. Spokespeople from the NSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Elko County, Nevada.
Representatives from the Nevada State Police said 40-year-old Jessica Duncan was killed when the vehicle she was driving was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that may have swerved to go around another car along I-80. Emergency responders pronounced Duncan dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 2 miles east of Elko.
Authorities are still looking into the crash.
