Details:
On or about Monday, November 16th, 2020, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left a Canton resident with minor injuries. Texas DPS said the accident happened along Interstate 20 near Tyler in Smith County, Texas.
Authorities said Jessica Mckinley was injured when her car allegedly struck a tractor-trailer and spun beneath the truck when it swerved to avoid crashing into a wall. Paramedics transported Mckinley to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
