Details:
On or about Thursday, January 6th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian sent a woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Leonard Road in Bryan, Texas.
Officials from the area said Jessica Navarro was seriously injured when she was allegedly hit by a vehicle as she was walking alongside or made an an attempt to cross Leonard Road. After the initial accident, the offending vehicle fled the scene of the accident. Paramedics rushed Navarro to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
Police are still trying to track down the vehicle and driver that fled the scene.
