Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, around 9:29 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and an 18-wheeler left a 73-year-old man dead. Authorities said the accident happened at the intersection of East 3rd Street and Orange Street in Pecos, Texas.
Deputies from the Reeves County Sheriff’s Office said 73-year-old Jesus Levario Gochicoa was hit by an 18-wheeler. Authorities did not specify where Gochicoa was standing at the time of the accident. Paramedics pronounced Gochicoa dead at the scene.
According to Google Maps, Pecos is located about 75 miles southwest of Odessa.
Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting in the investigation.
