On or about Monday, June 6th, 2022, around 3:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and another vehicle at the scene of a previous accident left one woman dead and sent two firefighters to the hospital. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 in Dallas, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Texas DPS said 27-year-old Jocelyn Ortega was killed, while firefighters Colton Adams and Clint Franklin were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly crashed into the scene of a previous accident along Interstate 45. Ortega was pronounced dead after the accident, while Franklin and Adams were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.
