Details:
On or about Thursday, March 11th, 2021, around 11:41 at night, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident claimed the life of a 55-year-old Whitehouse man. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 20 in Harrison County, Texas.
Texas DPS Troopers said 55-year-old Jody Anthony Bobeck was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly jackknifed and rolled off the side of Interstate 20. Paramedics rushed Bobeck to CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after his arrival. No other injuries were reported following the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about four miles outside the Marshall city limits.
State and local police are investigating the accident.
