On or about Thursday, November 4th, 2021, around 4:44 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a passenger vehicle left a 44-year-old man dead and sent a 47-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the OHP said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Highway 412 and 78th Street just outside Enid in Garfield County, Oklahoma.

Police officers said 44-year-old Jody Jay Holeman was killed and 47-year-old Abby Marie Briggs was injured when the car they were in allegedly struck the back of a box truck driven by Antonio Emmanuel Queen, who was stopped for a train near Highway 412 and 78th Street. Paramedics pronounced Holeman dead at the scene, while Briggs was rushed to OU Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Queen and his passenger were unhurt in the collision.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 3 miles east of Enid, which is about 101 miles northwest of downtown Oklahoma City.
