On or about Sunday, October 31st, 2021, around 1:30 in the morning, a major accident between a box truck and a passenger vehicle left a 43-year-old Ferguson woman dead. Authorities from the UHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in Grand County, Utah.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 43-year-old Jody Love was killed when the car she was in allegedly struck a box truck head-on while driving the wrong direction on Interstate 70. Paramedics pronounced Love dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is roughly 9 miles west of the Colorado state line.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
