Details:
On or about Wednesday, October 28th, 2020, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident sent a truck driver and passenger to the hospital. Troopers said that the accident happened on Interstate 40 in the western part of Cumberland County, Tennessee.
Authorities said that 22-year-old Joe Marmolejo and 27-year-old Adam Marmolejo were injured when the tractor-trailer they were in crashed into a number of trees when it veered off the side of the interstate. Paramedics transported Joe and Adam to a nearby hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.
Google Maps shows Interstate 40 as a four lane highway, with a wide, wooded median dividing east and westbound traffic. Cumberland County sits about 119 miles east of Nashville.
Authorities expect to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
