Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 20th, 2022, around 1:00 in the afternoon, a major multi-vehicle accident with a tractor-trailer left a man and a woman dead, while several others were sent to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Rose City, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said 77-year-old Joe Serhan and 79-year-old Joyce Serhan were killed when several passenger vehicles, SUVs, pickup trucks, and at least one tractor-trailer collided when an SUV may have experienced a tire blowout along I-10. Emergency responders pronounced Joe and Joyce Serhan dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Rose City is about 90 miles northeast of downtown Houston.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
