Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 3rd, 2022, around 8:58 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 90 just outside Moorcroft, Wyoming.
Troopers from the Wyoming State Patrol said Joe Stone was killed when the passenger vehicle he was riding in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was moving slowly with mechanical problems. Emergency responders pronounced Stone dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 90 cuts east and west through the center of Moorcroft.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
