On or about Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Route 66 in Jenks Township, Pennsylvania.

Authorities from the Pennsylvania State Police said 26-year-old John Creighton was killed when the vehicle he was in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Rte. 66. Emergency responders pronounced Creighton dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the incident. Creighton’s passenger and the driver of the tractor-trailer were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in Forest County.
