On or about Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 60-year-old man dead. Officials said the accident was reported on Lankford Highway in Northampton County, Virginia.
Police said 60-year-old John David Eatherly was killed when a tractor-trailer driven by Eliese Brown allegedly struck his pickup truck while turning out of Royal Farms on Lankford Highway. Emergency responders pronounced Brown dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Brown did not report injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 100 miles east of downtown Richmond.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
