On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, around 8:35 in the morning, an accident between a sprayer truck and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and 390th Street in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Officials from the Iowa State Patrol said 43-year-old John Guthridge and 51-year-old Bryan Dekkers were injured when a sprayer truck allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Elmwood and 390th Street. Emergency responders transported Guthridge and Dekkers to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about six miles west of the Sioux Center town line.
