Details:

Cyclist John Moulton was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on the US 70 bridge in Selma, NC. Authorities with the Selma Police Department report the accident took place around 11:32 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Moulton was attempting to move his bicycle off the road and onto the curb when he fell to the road. There he was struck by the passing tractor-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the tractor-trailer driver is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
