Jonathan D. Washington was killed on early Sunday morning, December 1, 2024, when he was struck head-on by Edgar Cortez. Local police report that an intoxicated Cortez was driving on the wrong side of US-80 when he collided with Washington, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
