On or about Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, around 10:20 in the morning, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a man, a woman, and two children dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 315 near the exchange with County Road 153 in Panola County, Texas.
Investigators said 27-year-old Jonathan Estrada, 26-year-old Jacqueline Martinez, and two children were killed when the car they were in allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 315 when it collided with a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes of the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced Estrada, Martinez, and two children dead of their injuries after the accident, while a third child was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Panola County is situated about 160 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
