Details:
On or about Friday, June 17th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 33-year-old man dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in Frederick, Maryland.
Representatives from the Maryland State Police said 33-year-old Jordan Scott Maddocks was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer when he exited his vehicle following a previous accident with wildlife along Interstate 70. Emergency responders pronounced Maddocks dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Route 17.
Police are still investigating the incident.
