Details:
On or about February 24th, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, a major tractor-trailer accident with a passenger vehicle left a 23-year-old Dos Palos man dead. Spokespeople from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 5 just outside Gustine in Merced County, California.
Representatives from the California Highway Patrol said 23-year-old Jose Robledo was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that was parked on the side of Interstate 5. Emergency responders pronounced Robledo dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance west of Gustine.
