60-Year-Old Joseph Amos was killed in a crash with an 18-Wheeler on Interstate 10, near Hungerford Road, in Calcasieu Parish, LA. The accident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, according to Louisiana State Police, when Amos was driving east in the rightmost lane. The 18-Wheeler, driving in the center lane, began to merge into the right, forcing Amos onto the shoulder. He reportedly then sped up in an attempt to pass the semi, but was unable to do, colliding with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities are currently investigating the accident.
