On or about Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, around 11:40 at night, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent a 36-year-old man from Middle River to the hospital. State Police said the accident happened on Highway 7 near the exchange with Babcock Road in Winstead Township, Minnesota.
Police said 36-year-old Joseph David Wilson was injured when his eastbound Nissan Pathfinder was allegedly struck by a westbound tractor-trailer driven by Steven Michael Rehm. Paramedics transported Wilson to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. Rehm did not report injury after the accident.
Looking at Highway 7 on Google Maps shows a two lane thoroughfare that runs east and west. Winstead Township sits about 48 miles west of Minneapolis.
