Details:
On or about Saturday, March 12th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, a serious single-vehicle car accident left a 24-year-old man dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 87 just outside Big Spring in Howard County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 24-year-old Joseph Harrison Savoy was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly drove off the side of Highway 87 and rolled several times after it collided with a fence. Paramedics pronounced Savoy dead of the injuries he sustained when he was ejected from the vehicle in the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 11 miles south of Big Spring.
Authorities are still trying to pin down the factors behind the accident.
