On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, around 12:53 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck towing a trailer left a 29-year-old man dead and sent three other people to the hospital. Investigators from the DPS said the accident was reported along RM 3054 just outside Log Cabin in Henderson County, Texas.

Officials from the area said 29-year-old Joseph Jones was killed when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly veered over the center line of RM 3054 and collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Leonardo Losoya. Paramedics pronounced Jones dead after the accident, while his passengers, identified as Robert Booker and Michael Rapp were taken to the hospital along with Losoya after the crash.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 2 miles east of Log Cabin, which is about 65 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
