On or about Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Authorities from the WSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 90 in Crook County, Wyoming.
Investigators from the Wyoming State Police said 20-year-old Joseph Stone was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that had been moving slowly along I-90 when the truck may have been experiencing mechanical failure. Paramedics pronounced Stone dead of his injuries following the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 90 cuts east and west through Crook County.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
