Details:
On or about Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, around 7:24 in the morning, a serious tractor-trailer accident with three other vehicles left a 62-year-old man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Kathleen Street and Prospect Road in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Officials from the Arkansas State Police said 62-year-old Joseph Vesley was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly ran a stop sign and struck Vesley’s pickup truck at Kathleen and Prospect. Emergency responders pronounced Vesley dead of his injuries a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene, or if he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, Prospect Road runs east and west, while Kathleen Street cuts north and south.
Police are still investigating the collision.
