On or about Monday, June 14th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle delivery truck accident sent two men to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident happened along FM 1012 just outside Jamestown in Jasper County, Texas.

Authorities from the area said 31-year-old Joshua Gomez and 23-year-old Devin Westbrook were injured when the delivery truck they were in allegedly drove off the side of Farm-to-Market Road 1012 and crashed into a wooded patch a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported Gomez and Westbrook to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside Jamestown, which is about 14 miles west of Jasper, around 147 miles north of Houston.

Texas DPS and local police assisted at the scene of the accident.
