Details:
On or about Friday, May 27th, 2022, around 11:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 25-year-old man dead. Troopers from the NSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Eureka County, Nevada.
Spokespeople from the Nevada Highway Patrol said 25-year-old Juan Alvarado-Martinez was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that had jackknifed and was blocking both lanes of the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced Alvarado-Martinez dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 cuts east and west into Eureka County.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the collision.
