On or about June 29th, 2021, around 1:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a minivan sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported at or near the exchange of Interstate 35E and Kiest Boulevard in Dallas, Texas.
Local law enforcement personnel said Juan Carlos Rodriguez was killed when when a tractor-trailer allegedly changed lanes and struck the Toyota Sienna Rodriguez was driving. Emergency responders transported Rodriguez to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Interstate 35 and Kiest Boulevard is on the south side of Dallas.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
