Details:
On or about Saturday, May 14th, 2022, a major two-vehicle accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left a 59-year-old man dead. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported along Almeda Avenue in El Paso, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 59-year-old Juan Pablo Sifuentes was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was allegedly hit by a vehicle that failed to yield along Almeda Avenue. Emergency responders rushed Sifuentes to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
Authorities identified the driver of the vehicle as 25-year-old Amber Lynn Valdez, who police said failed to yield while turning.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with Gateway North.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the collision.
