Details:
On or about Thursday, June 30th, 2022, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a garbage truck and a passenger vehicle left one woman dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along SR 2 in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Authorities from the Indiana State Police said 80-year-old Judith Ann Richmond was killed when the vehicle she was in was allegedly struck from behind by a garbage truck along S.R. 2. Emergency responders pronounced Richmond dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with Quince Road.
Police are still looking into the accident.
