Details:
On or about Friday, November 19th, 2021, around 11:35 in the morning, a serious accident between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle left a 77-year-old Woodburn woman dead and sent another person to the hospital. Officials from the OSP said the accident was reported along Highway 99E in Marion County, Oregon.
Investigators said 77-year-old Judith Harley was killed and another person was seriously injured when the Nissan Versa they were in and a dump truck collided under unknown conditions as the Nissan may have been entering Highway 99E. Paramedics pronounced Harley dead a short time after the accident, while the driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the dump truck was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 99E runs north and south through Marion County, which is about 77 miles south of downtown Portland.
Authorities are still examining the circumstances surrounding the collision.
