Details:
On or about Friday, December 11th, 2020, a hit and run accident between a dump truck, pickup truck, and a car claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman. Police said the accident happened on the southbound of Interstate 85 near the Brookshire Freeway in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Authorities said 25-year-old Kara Alsup was killed when her car was allegedly hit by a dump truck that subsequently fled the scene. After Alsup pulled the car over, the car was hit by a pickup truck. Alsup died three days after being taken to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have released a picture of the make and model of the dump truck, and are still looking.
Officers did not mention of the driver of the pickup truck was injured.
Multiple agencies from the area are currently investigating the incident.
