The driver and passenger of a white Freightliner semi-truck, Karan Singh and Harleen Kaul, were killed and Sukhginder Singh, the driver of a red semi-truck, seriously injured after a head-on collision on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The white semi-truck, driven by Karan Singh, was reportedly heading south on Interstate 77 when it crossed the center median into the path of northbound traffic. There it would collide head-on with another semi-truck being driven by Sukhginder Singh, causing both vehicles to erupt into flames.
Ohio State Highway Patrol would pronounce Karan Singh and Harleen Kaul dead at the scene of the accident. Sukhginder Singh was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
