On or about Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck, a pedestrian, and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 just outside Minden in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
Troopers from the Iowa State Patrol said 18-year-old Keeton Pfaffenberger and 36-year-old Travis Juno were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the pickup truck Pfaffengerger was driving, pushing the pickup into Juno, who was standing nearby. Paramedics transported Pfaffengerger and Juno to Council Bluffs Mercy Hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance northeast of the Minden city limits, which is about 103 miles west of Des Moines.
