Details:
On or about Sunday, April 17th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a major two-vehicle car accident left a man and a woman dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 385 in Hartley County, Texas.
Officials said 29-year-old Kelly Williams and 67-year-old Robert Kramer were killed when the vehicles they were in collided head-on as Williams allegedly tried to pass in oncoming traffic on Highway 385. Emergency responders pronounced Kramer dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident, while Williams was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about two miles south of the town of Hartley.
