Details:
On or about Saturday, February 19th, 2022, around 7:30 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left a 30-year-old woman dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along North Broadway Avenue in Tyler, Texas.
Officers from the Tyler Police Department said 30-year-old Kelsey Hise was killed when she was allegedly struck by a passing motorist as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of North Broadway. Emergency responders rushed Hise to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
According to Google Maps, Tyler is about 98 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
