On or about Saturday, May 28th, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 35-year-old woman dead. Deputies from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along 34th Street in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the Lubbock Police Department said 35-year-old Kesha Reed was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly struck the back of a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Stephanie Stroud. Reed was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival, while paramedics transported Stroud to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is not far from the intersection with Indiana Avenue.
Authorities are still investigating.
