ON or about Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, around 8:40 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left a 26-year-old man dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was rep[orted along Interstate 20 just outside Hallsville in Harrison County, Texas.
Police officers said 26-year-old Khalil Williams was killed when the SUV she was driving allegedly struck a tractor-trailer while changing lanes on I-20. Emergency responders pronounced Williams dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 2 miles outside of Hallsville.
Authorities are still investigating.
