Details:
On or about Friday, October 30th, 2020, around 4:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a Nissan Versa and a Ford F-350 left a woman dead and two children injuries. Officers said the accident happened at the intersection of Martinsville Street and Park Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Police said 26-year-old Kiana Johnson was killed, while her 2 and 4-year-old passengers were injured when the Nissan Versa they were in was hit by a Ford F-350 that allegedly turned into their path at the intersection. Johnson and the two children were taken to area hospitals where Johnson succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
Google Streetview shows the exchange of Park and Martinsville is a “Y” intersection, with Park Street being four lanes that run east and west. Martinsville Street is controlled by a stop sign at the intersection.
Texas DPS and local officials are investigating the collision.
