Details:
On or about Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman. Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and Virginia Avenue in Grandview Heights, Ohio.
Authorities from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said 52-year-old Kimmerly Moore-Kelley was killed when her Jeep was allegedly struck by an SUV as she was passing through the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Northwest Boulevard. Paramedics rushed her to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, Virginia Avenue runs north and south, while Northwest Boulevard runs east and west through Grandview Heights, which is a short distance northwest of downtown Columbus.
Police are still investigating.
