Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, around 12:41 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and another car left a 62-year-old man dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 2324 in Rains County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 62-year-old Kris Doyle was killed when the vehicle he was in was allegedly hit from behind by a car driven by Maria Colunga along FM 2324. Emergency responders pronounced Doyle dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is about four miles southwest of Emory.
Police are still examining the cause of the crash.
