Details:
On or about Friday, March 26th, 2021, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 23-year-old woman dead and a 72-year-old man seriously injured. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened on the northbound side of Highway 287 just outside Waxahachie, Texas.
Officers said 23-year-old Kristin Bulmer was killed and 72-year-old Otto Schniebs was injured when the SUV they were in allegedly rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was turning into a business. Bulmer died of her injuries at the scene, while Schniebs was rushed to Baylor Scott & White Hospital with serious injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is just outside Waxahachie, which is about 29 miles south of downtown Dallas.
Texas DPS and local authorities are investigating the incident.
