Details:
On or about Saturday, November 6th, 2021, around 1:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 30-year-old woman. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along Route C in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said 30-year-old Kristinia Pont was killed when her car was hit by a tractor-trailer that was turning along Route C. Emergency responders pronounced Pont dead of her injuries a shor time after the accident. Officials identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 52-year-old Lee Hardin, who was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Route C cuts east and west through Jefferson City, which is about 125 miles west of downtown St. Louis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
