Details:
On or about Sunday, May 1st, 2022, around 2:15 in the morning, a major two-vehicle car accident left a 23-year-old woman dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Eisenhower Parkway in Denison, Texas.
Officers from the Denison Police Department said 23-year-old Kristy Patti was killed when the vehicle she was driving allegedly drove over the center line of the Eisenhower Parkway and hit a vehicle in oncoming traffic. Emergency responders pronounced Patti dead of her injuries after the accident, while two people in the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Sarah Fannin Avenue.
Police are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
