Details:
On or about Monday, January 17th, 2022, around 7:00 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent a 37-year-old woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Bentworth Drive in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said 37-year-old Lachastie Grant was injured when the passenger vehicle he was in allegedly drove off the side of Bentworth Drive and crashed into the parking lot of an apartment complex. Emergency responders transported Grant to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature severity.
Authorities have since stated that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Police are still investigating the incident.
